Soboba Springs Royal Vista Golf Course is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in San Jacinto, California.
Soboba Springs Royal Vista Golf Course first opened for play in 1966. The course was designed by Desmond Muirhead
In December of 2004, the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians purchased Soboba Springs Royal Vista Golf Club from the Honolulu based company, Waterhouse, Inc. It was always a dream of the tribal leaders to own the beautiful golf course that bordered their reservation.
Immediately, they began planning development of the golf course site to return the facility to the premier golf destination in Southern California and beyond. They contracted the services of Cary Bickler, golf course architect and disciple of Desmond Muirhead, the original golf course designer.
The Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians had entered into a 2009 -2012 agreement with the Nationwide Tour. The Soboba Classic (Nationwide Tournament) conducted annually in the fall will offer contestants a $1 million dollar purse, one of only 3 events on the Nationwide Tour offering such a million dollar amount!
The Country Club At Soboba Springs plays to 7,075 yards from the tips for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.4 and it has a slope rating of 132.

Just played this course for the first time and enjoyed it very much, good value. The tees and fairways were perfect. The greens had been plugged a couple of weeks ago and were still "bumpy". Greens should be in much better shape in a week or so. Looking forward to playing this course again. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The only complaint I had was the fairways were not overseeded this year, so they were brown, making it difficult to find your ball. I'm sure it will be beautiful again in the spring/summer. This is an extremely nice and well maintained course.

This website needs updating because this course is The Country Club at Soboba Springs now. It underwent millions in renovations three years ago. It is Nationwide Tour quality with two more years in contract with that tour. The Pros who played it have been very complimentary even though the cool weather this year hurt the Bermuda grass renovations. One cannot find a better course for the money anywhere in Riverside County. As a member, you can join for $500 and enjoy all the ammenities of pro shop discounts, 10% off food, free use of range and practice areas, pool, and fabulous new clubhouse for only 265/mo for walkers and 349/mo for cart riders. For the public the new green fees are 44 during the week and 59 on weekends. Best kept secret in Southern California. From the tips it's over 7000 yds and holes 15 and 16 were the toughest on the Nationwide last year.

I was somewhat disappointed with this course. Fun, moderately challenging layout, and only a couple fairways with houses on them, but given the overall conditions of the course (lots of dry and bare spots on fairways and greens, some tee boxes were horrible), felt $45 dollars weekday twilight to be too much to pay. They did mention in the club house that work was being done to the fairways, but still too much money to pay given the conditions on this day. Maybe in the fall, things will get better. But till then, will play elsewhere.

This is a great golf course with many chanellenges. Although the fairways were being prepared for the up coming Nationwide Tournament, the course was top notch. The clubhouse and staff are wonderful and a plus to the course. The place of play was slow at times, however, our round was completed in just over four hours. I recommend this course as a great course to play.

The staff is preparing for a National Tournament and the course is in the best shape I have ever witnessed during twenty years of play there. The price comes with free practice balls at the driving range. The only problem that I had with the course is that the driving range does not open until 8:00 AM. I would like to see it open at 7:30 AM to allow early golfers a chance to warm up.

This course is absolutely one of the best deals in Southern California. If you use one of the tee time reservation sites you can play for around $31 with cart. It has a great layout and its difficulty is evident by the fact that the Nationwide Tour is holding an event there. If you want a tough course that is beautiful, Soboba Springs is your best bet.

Recently remodeled, nines reversed, new clubhouse. Course in excellent shape, but had been over-watered (tee boxes were marshy). Lots of water, and Augusta sand. Excellent track for the money
